House (or MD, MD where can mean "Medical Doctor," "Medical Division" or "Medical Diagnostic" depending on the sector or country where it is transmitted) is an American television series premiered in 2004 by FOX. This is a medical drama that revolves around Dr. Gregory House, a brilliant but huraño doctor who works in the department of diagnostic fictitious Princeton-Plainsboro University Hospital in New Jersey. The protagonist is played by the British actor Hugh Laurie (nominated for the Emmy Awards and winner of two Golden Globe Awards for her interpretation in the series).
