Carla Bruni, born in Italy, is the daughter of the powerful industrial and composer Alberto Bruni Tedeschi, and the actress and piano concertist Marysa Borini. After 5 years of life, she left Italy for the first time and went to Paris. She grew up in France and Switzerland. She began to study architecture, but she left at age 19 to become a model, even though she was the heiress of a large fortune. She worked for the most important designers of haute couture and ended her career as a model in 1997. She has a son named Aurélien, born in July 2001, after her relationship with Raphael Enthoven, a renowned professor of political science. In 1996, after the death of Alberto Bruni, Carla Bruni learnt that her real biological father was Maurizio Remmert, an Italian businessman who now lives in Brazil.
An artist is bornIn 2001 she began as a singer and in 2002 she published her album Quelqu'un m'a dit. It was very successful in Europe and around the world. The album was a tribute to the French "chanson". All items are in French and composed by her. On January 15, 2007 she published her second album, entitled "No promises" performed in English. "No Promises" contains songs based on poems. The title of the album is taken from the also called poem "Promises" by Christina Rossetti.
Living loveIn 1987, with just 19 years old, she had an affair with Mick Jagger, co-founder of The Rolling Stones. She was also sentimentally linked with the business tycoon Donald Trump, the French actor Vincent Perez, the lawyer Arno Klarsfeld, the literary editor Jean-Paul Enthoven, and with his son, Raphael Enthoven philosopher, with whom she had a son, Aurélien . In December 2007, she confirmed her relationship with the president of France, Nicolas Sarkozy, after being seen walking into Disneyland.
